We are excited to send you the 2017 Tentative Agreement between the Transport Workers of America, AFL-CIO and Allegiant Air. You will be voting on this agreement to establish your historic, first contract. First contracts are always the most difficult, because they have to be built from the ground up. This contract will serve as the foundation for your future contracts and our Local. Because of your unity and support, we have negotiated an agreement that not only raises our compensation above Allegiant competitors, but also preserves or improves every aspect of our work life and will help build our future.

This new agreement adds $57 million to our current compensation with immediate raises ranging from 11% to 23% and a new pay scale that raises yearly rates ranging from 16% to 33%. There is also a 100% increase in Per Diem. In addition, there are significant improvements to Reserve, Scheduling and Bidding, Vacation, Sick Time, Duration, and Part-Time. Most importantly, your contract establishes Grievance Procedures to hold the Company accountable. Please visit 577.twu.org to view the Tentative Agreement, Highlight Flyer, and TA Questions & Answers.

We hope that you will read the entire Agreement, attend informational meetings, and meet with your Negotiators when they visit all bases to get all your questions answered in person. You may also choose to participate in one of the many conference calls that will be held. If you have any questions, please let us know, and you will receive an answer within 24 hours, since your NT will be on the road and working hard to keep you up to date! Most importantly, please encourage all Allegiant Flight Attendants to update their contact information, so they will have accurate information and be able to vote.

The first informational meetings will be held on the following dates in Orlando:

Tuesday, December 5th at 10:00 AM and at 2:00 PM (Local time)

Orlando Downtown Crowne Plaza
304 W. Colonial Dr.
Orlando, FL 32801

This hotel is offering a special rate for Allegiant Employees attending the Holiday Party to make this convenient for those attending. Additional meetings in FL will be held on Wednesday, December 6th and all other locations until December 13th. Please view the meeting and conference call schedule for upcoming meetings and calls.

Voting will be conducted electronically and will open on December 14th at 1:00 P.M., EST (10:00 A.M., PST) and will close on December 21st at 1:00 P.M., EST (10:00 A.M., PST)

Thank you for the unity and support you have shown since our return to the negotiating table. While negotiations involve give and take, your support has enabled us to negotiate from a position of strength, and we feel that we have left nothing on the table. We are proud to give you the opportunity to vote on this Agreement, so we can receive the protections and benefits we deserve and that this contract provides.
